Drunken Battle Friday - August 12th
    Bag & Tag: Russia

    Starts:
    20:00 EST (8 PM EST)
Ends: 22:30 EST (10:30 PM EST)

    For the Glorious Motherland!

You guys requested it, and our Bag & Tag event is here. I had originally planned to hold it over for new line releases, but you guys had so much fun with it, I figured.....why not? Let's go hunting Russians!
This event is simple, and it's also a crossover game. It doesn't matter whether you're in World of Tanks or World of Warships at the time. Both games qualify for the hunt. Like the title implies, everyone's hunting Russians. If you kill a Russian tank, you earn a point. If you kill a Russian ship, you earn a point. Just remember to claim it out loud when you do, otherwise it won't be counted on your record. Whoever claims the most Russian kills at the end of the night will win a prize. Second place will also win a prize. Simple enough? Good. Happy hunting!

Oh. Platoons are allowed, technically speaking. Just know it's scored individually, so while the help might be nice, you also have 2 more people competing against you.

    Event Prizes
As is our usual, we have two prizes to give out during the event itself. The prizes in question are being mixed up slightly for testing purposes. Like last time, the event prizes are a decal and a game code, and the raffle prize this week will be the other game code. First place will get to choose between the game code or decal while the second place gets whatever the first place didn't pick. This is round 2 of our test, so bear with us on it.

    Last Week's Raffle/This Week's Raffle Numbers
Congratulations to USMCSecretSquirrel for winning last week's raffle! Your prize is one of our =VX9= Decals. You may claim your prize here.

The number selection this week is 35-68. You have until 11:59 PM Sunday (9/4) to enter a raffle number. The winner will be picked during the following week's DBF post.

Hope to see all of you there! Don't forget the drinks!

Drunken Battle Friday - August 26th
    Bag & Tag: Germany

    Starts:
    20:00 EST (8 PM EST)
Ends: 22:30 EST (10:30 PM EST)

    [INSERT PUN ABOUT FREEZING HERE]

This week we're doing a simple game: freeze tag. Simple as it sounds, it's actually quite fun and can be rather challenging. You have a couple tanks that are doing their best to chase down a cluster of enemies and tag them, freezing them in place....all while their allies are trying to unfreeze them while staying alive themselves. Prizes are handed out randomly, though if we see something amazingly impressive, there's a prize to be had.

    Event Prizes
As is our usual, we have two prizes to give out during the event itself. We'll hand out two game codes during the event, with a decal given away via the forum raffle.

    Last Week's Raffle/This Week's Raffle Numbers
Congratulations to Antigone for winning last week's raffle! Your prize is one of our Game Codes. You may claim your prize here.

The number selection this week is 70-100. You have until 11:59 PM Sunday (8/28) to enter a raffle number. The winner will be picked during the following week's DBF post.

Drunken Battle Friday - July 22nd
    Tank Olympics

    Starts:
    20:00 EST (8 PM EST)
Ends: 22:30 EST (10:30 PM EST)
    Don't Worry - We're Zika-Free

Celebrating the start of the Olympics in Rio tomorrow, we found it to be quite fitting that we should have our own spin on Olympics - with tanks. We'll do a whole variety of random events, so much so that we don't even know what all of them are. Tanks will explode in the most hilarious ways though, so come show up to find out what we have planned.

.....oh. Don't worry. There's at least a 3% less chance of you getting robbed if you come to our Olympics.

    Event Prizes
As is our usual, we have two prizes to give out during the event itself. The prizes in question are two game codes from the =VX9= vault. I have no idea what they are, and they're completely random, so you never know what you'll get. But hey, everyone loves free games, right?

    Drop-In Night

    Starts:
    20:00 EST (8 PM EST)
Ends: 22:30 EST (10:30 PM EST)

    Drop-In Night: Let's Get Silly

By now you guys should know how drop-ins work. Same old thing. Everyone chooses a tank of one tier, we all count in as dictated by the event leader, then watch the fun happen! There is no specific tank you need for this. Whatever you happen to have is just fine with us! Come on out!

    Event Prizes
As is our usual, we have two prizes to give out during the event itself. The prizes in question are two game codes from the =VX9= vault. I have no idea what they are, and they're completely random, so you never know what you'll get. But hey, everyone loves free games, right?

Drunken Battle Friday - July 8th
    Death Race 2.0

    Starts:
    20:00 EST (8 PM EST)
Ends: 22:30 EST (10:30 PM EST)

    Death Race 2.0: WITNESS ME!

It's baaaaack. we're going to be doing it again, this time with at least 3% more explosions. It's the same format as the 2.0 revamp (for those not up to speed on the 2.0 format, I've got a handy changelog below for your viewing pleasure). If you're new to Death Races, keep reading. Basically, death races operate like the movie, in some form or fashion. You bring tier 3 tanks to race around 4 maps, competing for places and points. But it's not as easy as it sounds. Throughout the map, there are things trying to kill you. So you have to survive or, at the very least, make sure that you don't die before the other guy does. There are hidden surprises, but those won't appear until midway through the race (there are also some nifty things I have planned that aren't listed in the changelog below that may or may not make an appearance). Whoever finishes with the most points wins a prize. So does the runner up, but they don't get the glory of being first. So come out and race!

    2.0 Changelog (Shameless Copy-Paste):

Hazard Rebalance - before, most people knew that there were people in high-tier tanks that would try to upset the race balance. But other than just being a general nuisance (and the occasional one-shot from an emplaced gun), the hunter tanks really didn't do much. Now it's a little bit different. There are still big gun emplacements on certain maps, and they will take the form of large-caliber turrets like E-100s or indirect-fire things like arty. But there won't be near as many as there were previously. Now most of the gun emplacements will be smaller autocannon vehicles who will spray shells in a general direction upon contact. Additionally, most road hazards have been removed. Since the new physics create a big enough problem already, these extra road hazards felt a bit redundant. Why the streamlining? Well, we needed to pave the way for something bigger...

The Hunter - Yup. It's been narrowed down to one. But don't let that fool you; it's a lot meaner. After the start of the second lap, the hunter will be unleashed from its lair and will actively hunt down racers. But it's not just a ramming game anymore. This hunter has teeth. Big teeth. When the hunter closes on its prey, it will start shooting to kill. Don't try to outrun it, either. The hunter will usually be in a light tank designed to keep up with the racers, so you have to think carefully about finding yourself on your own. The trade-off here is that racers can now shoot the hunter and try to kill it before it does too much damage. There's even an incentive for it: get a Takedown on a hunter and you earn yourself anywhere from 3-5 bonus ranking points! That could sling you into that coveted first place! It won't be easy though - you won't be able to do it yourself. You'll need some meat shiel--er....guns nearby to help.

Wider Maps - We've loosened the boundaries on the maps for you. Now you don't have to follow an exact path to get there, so long as you follow a general path to get there. This was to accommodate for the new Hunter mechanic, as well as create a more dynamic race and eliminate some chokepoints. There are still areas that are a no-go, and those will be clearly marked, but you should find your racing experience more enjoyable.

No Random Guns - Because of the increase of potential hazards, as well as the Hunter, we've now removed the 'random fire' mechanic. In the old Death Race, I would assign random people to shoot at specific times. This ended up being more of a hassle and a lot of people complained. So we've done away with that now. I mean, with the new physics, the Hunter, and more useful hazards, people are still going to die en-masse, so you're still going to get your carnage.

    Event Prizes
As is our usual, we have two prizes to give out during the event itself. The prizes in question are two game codes from the =VX9= vault. I have no idea what they are, and they're completely random, so you never know what you'll get. But hey, everyone loves free games, right? One will be guaranteed for the first place winner. Depending on the lateness of the hour, the second prize may go to whomever finishes second. If we have enough time (and everyone's sober enough to do it), we'll do another round of races.

    Last Week's Raffle/This Week's Raffle Numbers
Congratulations to FreshKiller23 for winning last week's raffle! Your prize is one of our =VX9= Decals. You may claim your prize here.

The number selection this week is 1-30. You have until 11:59 PM Sunday (7/10) to enter a raffle number. The winner will be picked during the following week's DBF post.

    ***Important Prize Information***
I'm cleaning up my list. If you have won a prize and have not received it, please PM me and let me know what the prize was, and I'll get it taken care of. If you do not PM me, then I won't know, and you won't get your prize any time soon.

    - RECORDING WARNING -
Guys, I am giving you fair notice of this so it doesn't come as a surprise. I will be recording this week's event so I can make some promotional/highlight videos out of it. You have been given fair notice, so if you object to being filmed, I've gotten Also, don't deliberately try to wreck the event for others/be a jerk on-camera just for glory. There will be consequences.

Hope to see all of you there! Don't forget the drinks!

Drunken Battle Friday - July 1st
    Fox Hunt

    Starts:
    20:00 EST (8 PM EST)
Ends: 22:30 EST (10:30 PM EST)

    Join the Hunting Party!

Our Fox Hunt event is getting another go this weekend. For those that are familiar with the game, nothing has changed, other than just some clarification. For those that don't know what it is, keep reading. Fox hunt implies kinda what it sounds like. That is, one person in a tank has to try and hide, escape, or whatever necessary in order to survive as long as possible against the hunting party. Here's the catch though: the hunting party is two tiers higher than whatever the fox is. But they're in on the fox's home turf, so it won't be easy (translation: the fox gets to choose the map for maximum survivability). Oh. The fox can shoot back, too, should they choose.

    Game Breakdown:

    - At the start of the match, the hunting party does NOT MOVE. The fox has 60 seconds to hide wherever they want, and during this time the hunting party can do nothing. After those 60 seconds are up, the hunt begins! The party has 10 minutes to hunt down the fox, so survive as long as you can!
    - Due to the tier difference and general balance issues from past events, there are NO LIGHT TANKS allowed. These things can overtake a fox faster than the game should go, and it's never a fun time.
    - The party can (obviously) shoot at the fox, and the fox can shoot back.
    - No map exploits. I.E., any spot that is considered a glitch/place where nobody else can get to you.
    - The two longest fox survival times wins a prize. This is the only way to win a prize for this event.
    - Our current record holder for longest survival time is Clunas with a survival time of 8:37. Think you can beat his record?

    Event Prizes
As is our usual, we have two prizes to give out during the event itself. The prizes in question are two game codes from the =VX9= vault. I have no idea what they are, and they're completely random, so you never know what you'll get. But hey, everyone loves free games, right?
