yeah she is definitely a really good model. those recent shots are from a photog meetup group that i started hanging out with to learn more photography. AND of course not! share away ;D we should start a thread called 'Share your photography' or something like that. Gimp is actually a pro photog but he never shares. hes just too good for us hobbyists lol

tried practicing shooting with a speedlight today since i have been shooting with portrait photogs a lot. ive still got a ways to go. totally overwhelmed myself trying to do simple setups for the strangest reason despite plenty of experience working as a light/photo assistant setting lights up for people :29:

but yeah this was shot with my canon 7D a 50 f1.2L with a variable ND filter and a speedlight camera right shot through an umbrella. im ok with results but it doesnt blow me away lol

Thats not too bad. for my taste the light is hitting him too much from the front but that might just be me

recent iphone 4S shots i took while attending a photo event last night. i had all my gear with me and was planning on trying to finish my last roll of color film before i switch to black and white but i was in a very blah mood after breaking up with my girlfriend (we are still friends just not as close anymore) but yeah took these shots and edited them on my phone. nothing crazy special, wish i had better shots to share from my film cameras
