Sims 4 refuses to run - video card problem possibly?

When I opened the game today, I got the "Video card cannot be run with this game" error, so I updated my video card drivers.
Now the game won't work at all. When I try, the game opens in a small window in the top corner that I can't expand or move, and it says that the game is unresponsive.

My suggestion would be a full uninstall of the game and any associated files with the game so all of Origin and then make sure its fully cleared out of your system and sub-folders. then even farther uninstall all GPU drivers restart and reinstall drivers and you should be good to go!
