Started a batch of Kiwi Wine Today

Kiwi is basically giant green grapes. But they tend to have a little bit more of a sweet sour taste to them so I prefer to use them for making wine.

I feel the kiwi closely matches the riesling grapes and riesling wine.

I am using 18 lbs of kiwi, hopefully it's as good as my last batch.

My favorite thing about Mondays is doing all the work your co-workers told you they'd do last week.

Looks interesting. Not a fan of the kiwi fruit myself but I would definitely try some kiwi wine.

That sounds really awesome man and I've never really been a big fan of kiwi before.

That sounds very interesting Eager. I think I have seen it on the shelves here in New Zealand, will have a look around and let you know if it is being produced. The Kiwi is a large goose berry btw.

So I @#$ed up that batch of Kiwi Wine. 1.75lt Jack Daniels Bottles loose their air tightness when you take off the flow regulator otherwise known as a fun regulator. Unlike the .75lt Jack Daniels bottles I use to use.

From 3-4 to 6 months. Depends on how long you want to condition it. It's wine, time does wonders to a well managed batch.
